*well once the weather decides what it is doing.

As you may have noticed our website has had a major overhaul, in fact it’s been rebuilt from the ground up with a number of new features and information. It has a much more modern theme with lots of options which will be coming online over the next few months.

For now, here is our current news:

There is now a course/events diary here so that you can see our upcoming courses whether local, shorebased, on the lake or further afield in Greece and Gibraltar. It is a very powerful tool with lots of view options, have a play and if you see something that takes your fancy let us know.

We also have included the local weather forecast on our home page so you can look ahead a few days and not just a look out of the window and guess what tomorrow has to offer.

It’s time to announce our school summer camps for 2016 w/c 18 July & w/c 25 July. Last year’s went well so we are building on that experience for this year. If you have children who would benefit from sailing in the school summer holidays, more information can be found here http://sail-ysl.ch/summer-camps/

We have a full summer of weekend instructional courses planned, from intro to sailing all the way up to Yachtmaster theory. Check the diary for the dates or just ask if you don’t see what you’re looking for.

We are extremely happy to announce that we will be at the Lakemotions event this year. It is the Zurisee’s main event for boat builders and dealers. To be asked to exhibit is very exciting. We are taking a number of dinghies from our range for you to see and as they will be on the water, a test sail is an option.

Finally, we would like to thank everyone who came to our Expo. It was good to meet you and thankfully, although the weather was not wall-to-wall sunshine, it could have been far worse, as we’ve seen over the last few days.

Cheers, and remember “Flappy sails are unhappy sails” 😉
